A Taiwan Blue Magpie design that connects cultures

The Men’s Catwalk AIT Cycling Jersey draws inspiration from the Taiwan Blue Magpie, transforming the bird’s distinctive blue, white and red plumage into a dynamic design created around the identity of AIT—the American Institute in Taiwan.

Sky-blue sleeves depict the Blue Magpie’s outstretched wings, while abstract details inspired by its feathers, head, eyes and beak flow across the jersey. Together, these elements evoke the feeling of spreading your wings and riding through Taiwan’s open skies.

Across the back, Taiwan’s mountainous landscape forms the foundation of MONTT’s signature TT mountain-shaped pockets. Illustrations of recognised Taiwanese landmarks celebrate the character of the island, while bicycle wheel and chain graphics subtly form the AIT initials, connecting Taiwanese culture, cycling and international friendship through design.

Engineered for close-fitting cycling performance

The Catwalk collection features a close, performance-oriented cut shaped around the male riding position. Its aerodynamic profile follows the body while retaining the stretch and freedom of movement required on the bike.

The main body uses breathable Coolpass butterfly-mesh fabric to move perspiration away from the skin and support rapid drying. Lightweight stretch side panels from Italian performance-fabric specialist MITI improve ventilation, body fit and comfort during active riding.

At the rear, MONTT’s signature TT mountain pocket construction provides practical storage for nutrition, a phone and riding essentials. Reflective mountain-line detailing improves visibility in lower-light conditions, while the ergonomically angled pocket openings make items easier to reach while riding.
